Short bios

Lilian Genaro Motti Ader

Lilian is a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Career-FIT Fellow post-doctoral researcher at University College Dublin, working on improving usability and data capture of health technologies. In her current work, she studies the challenges associated to balance and gait analysis of older adults for reducing the risk of falls. She holds a PhD from the University of Toulouse, France, where she demonstrated how differences in postures o wrist could be related to the difficulties older adults find for using touchscreen compared to younger users.

Benoît Bossavit

Benoît is a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Career-FIT Fellow post-doctoral researcher at Trinity College Dublin. In his current project, he is designing, developing and evaluating a system aiming at supporting early functional screening of gross-motor skills in children. He holds a PhD from the Public University of Navarre, Pamplona, Spain. During his thesis work, he designed and implemented digital educational tools for children and youth with special needs.

Brian Caulfield is Full Professor of Physiotherapy at University College Dublin. His research is focused on the application of digital supports and data-driven technologies for evaluating human behaviour and performance in health and sport.

Karine Lan Hing Ting

Karine Lan Hing Ting is a researcher at ActivAgeing Living Lab, Troyes University of Technology, France. Her research interests revolve around the design, iterative evaluation and use of health, Ambient Assisted Living (AAL) or social robotic technologies for older adults, using a Human-centred and Participatory Design approach.
